Inpatient Drug Rehab: How Long Do You Stay?

Length of Inpatient Drug Rehab

There are several questions that a person often has when it comes to committing to an inpatient drug addiction treatment program. One of them typically is how long will an inpatient drug rehab program last? The answer is different for every person. In general, an inpatient treatment program is something that lasts anywhere between 30 and 90 days. This is an important decision and it’s something that should always be made with the help and guidance from experienced addiction treatment experts with the understanding that these timeframes are flexible. This means that you can extend your addiction treatment program at any time if you decide that you would like to continue on with your recovery journey

Another understandable concern that many people have revolves around rehab costs. There are many clients that reach out to TruPath for alcohol abuse or treatment for drug addiction who do not have the money to pay out of pocket for their inpatient treatments. However, did you know that through insurance verification, rehab costs may be completely covered during your time at our inpatient treatment center? If you need help in the insurance verification process, simply let our inpatient drug and alcohol treatment team know so we can assist.

30-day Program

If you don’t feel comfortable with the premise of drug or alcohol addiction treatment or you cannot commit to treatment for a long period of time, a 30-day treatment programs you with the initial support that you need to address your substance abuse. This type of treatment plan will provide you with the initial basis that you need to begin your recovery journey.

60-day Program

A 60 day treatment program is an extension of a 30 day program and allows you to build on the initial tools and resources that you started to learn during your first 30 days. Although you will still continue to live on the campus of our treatment facility, you will have more time to be able to explore the root causes of your addiction and face them with the understanding that you will have the full support and care of your treatment team. Not only that, but you will be able to interact with others that are also working through their own addiction treatment program

90-day Program

A 90 day treatment program offers the longest opportunity for you to address your substance abuse. The more that you immerse yourself in addiction treatments, the stronger your understanding of addiction becomes. This is something that can help you to avoid falling back into the trap of addiction going forward. You will also be able to speak in greater detail about your plans going forward and start to put some of the tools and resources that you learned during your time in treatment into play.
